What is UF?

The Unidad de Fomento (UF) is an inflation-indexed monetary unit used in Chile. Its value is adjusted daily based on the Consumer Price Index (CPI).

It is the standard currency for the Chilean real estate market, as it preserves the real value of properties regardless of inflation.
